It’s officially the first day of summer and many of us are scrambling to get bikini ready. I was lucky enough to get several samples of Greek yogurt from Voskos and wanted to share my thoughts with all of you.
As many of you know, yogurt is considered a diet friendly snack. Top it off with some fresh fruit and you’ve got yourself a very healthy meal. Vanessa Nielsen, Director of Marketing at Voskos shipped over a package of Organic yogurt, original, non fat, and blended flavors.
My favorite was the Honey Original. It was decadent and delightful with a super creamy texture. I felt like I was eating dessert! And no wonder. At 14 grams of fat and 290 calories per serving, it would hardly be considered a slimming, but it sure was tasty.
The nonfat Greek Honey version had 130 calories, but was too tart for my liking.
It was creamy, but definitely not sweet enough.
For something in between, check out the flavored non fat yogurts. I liked the Wild Strawberry flavor with just a slight hint of tartness. And at 120 calories, you can’t go wrong on your way to bikini fitness. Make sure you check out the other great flavors, including Exotic Fig and Wild Blueberry.
For those interested in Organic yogurt, fear not, Voskos offers 3 different flavors. Plain, Greek Honey, and Vanilla Bean, all of them nonfat. Yay! Head on over to your supermarket and snatch up these tasty treats. I highly recommend them. One last thing, I was so satisfied with the Honey Original that I didn’t eat again for a few hours.
